**Compensation Range for This Position Is $55,000 - $60,000

Mercy Ships is seeking a Global Crew Navigator Manager to serve in an international remote capacity. In this position you'll have the opportunity to oversee the entire volunteer journey within Mercy Ships. This team will ensure a positive experience for volunteers starting with their application through their arrival home.

How You’ll Contribute

  • Advocate and implement industry-leading practices to optimize the volunteer journey from initiation to completion.
  • Liaise effectively with diverse stakeholders and departments to maintain accurate and current volunteer touchpoints.
  • Develop comprehensive engagement initiatives tailored to enhance volunteer interactions, spanning areas such as crew support, fundraising, and community & church engagement.
  • Oversee a global team of Crew Navigators tasked with guiding volunteers through their journey.
  • Contribute to content creation and ensure ongoing updates to volunteer resources in partnership with key stakeholders.
  • Foster collaboration with various departmental stakeholders throughout the organization.
  • Monitor and analyze both qualitative and quantitative metrics to assess the efficiency and impact of crew care activities, in coordination with the broader MSI P&C team and systems.
  • Ensure timely updates and relevant content for crew engagement emails, adhering to policy adjustments and feedback from volunteers.
  • Review exit surveys, promptly address any concerns raised, and implement improvements as necessary.
  • Spearhead the implementation of a debrief program in collaboration with Member Care to facilitate a seamless transition for departing volunteers.
  • Collaborate closely with the Alumni Engagement team to enrich the overall volunteer experience

  • Have strong computer skills including Microsoft Office Suite, CRM tools (Salesforce/Dayforce), and Pardot.

 Education & Experience

  • Mercy Ships alumni or previous Mercy Ships experience strongly preferred.   
  • Bachelor’s Degree in a related field.
  • Supervisory experience required.
  • Prior experience working in a multi-cultural organization preferred.
  • Successful completion of Mercy Ships Entry Training will be required within the first year
