**Compensation Range for This Position Is $55,000 - $60,000

Mercy Ships is seeking a Global Alumni Experience Manager to serve remotely. In this position you'll have the opportunity to design and implement a Global Alumni Engagement program focused on volunteer satisfaction.

How You’ll Contribute

  • Provide leadership to the global Alumni Engagement teams (Alumni Navigators), establishing clear objectives, and eliminating obstacles to achieve growth and engagement targets within the Mercy Ships alumni network.
  • Develop and cultivate strategic partnerships with communities, social organizations, and events to increase awareness, engagement, and opportunities for Mercy Ships involvement in key markets.
  • Forge strategic alliances in priority markets and guide the Alumni Engagement team in fostering relationships with churches and community organizations to expand opportunities for engagement
  • Supervise global Alumni Ambassador programs to ensure effective representation and engagement across regions.
  • Manage and update global speakers online toolkits, furnishing current information, PowerPoint presentations, and resources including content, images, and videos.
  • Implement a global buddy program within the Alumni engagement framework to enhance support and connection among volunteers.
  • Utilize expertise in marketing, CRM, engagement planning, and Salesforce to optimize Alumni engagement strategies.
  • Collaborate with Crew Navigator team members to enhance the overall volunteer journey experience.
  • Develop and implement with Crew Navigator Manager a global debrief program in collaboration with Member Care to facilitate a seamless transition for departing volunteers.
  • Develop the Volunteer-to-Career pathway to facilitate transitioning volunteers into career opportunities.
  • Establish a follow-up survey 6-12 months post-service to assess alumni engagement and sentiments toward Mercy Ships. Utilize survey data to propose strategic initiatives for measurable impact, collaborating with the Senior Volunteer Experience Manager.
  • Perform any other duties as assigned in alignment with organizational objectives.

 Education & Experience

  • Mercy Ships alumni or previous Mercy Ships experience strongly preferred.
  • Bachelor’s Degree in a related field.
  • Supervisory experience required.
  • Prior experience working in a multi-cultural organization preferred.
  • Successful completion of Mercy Ships Entry Training will be required within the first year.
