This is an on-site role located in Lindale, Texas.

 

**Compensation Range for This Position Is $16 - $18/HR.

 

Mercy Ships is seeking a Fulfillment Clerk to complete data entry with integrity, assign mailings, online store management, inventory management, and various other daily tasks.

 

How You’ll Contribute

  • Support of daily marketing and donor operations, including reporting, fulfillment, online Mercy Ships store activity, donor communications, data requests and processing
  • Work collaboratively with internal teams, including Marketing, Donor Services, and Integrated Services, to support system usage, process improvements, and cross-functional initiatives related to Marketing or Resource Development.
  • Support donor communication efforts through inbound and outbound donor service calls, including follow-up, engagement, and assistance related to giving, sustainer support, and general donor inquiries.
  • Serve as a coordination point for donor system inquiries and operational support, ensuring a positive donor experience.
  • Provide day-to-day oversight and support of Mercy Ships’ online store order processing, ensuring orders are reviewed, prepared, and completed accurately and in a timely manner.
  • Assist with inventory tracking and organization, including monitoring stock levels and reporting discrepancies or low inventory to appropriate team members.
  • Support fulfillment activities, including packing, labeling, and preparing orders for shipment in alignment with established procedures.
  • Maintain accurate records related to orders, inventory movement, and fulfillment documentation.

     

    The Ideal Candidate

  • Oversight and Management of systems and processes associated to Marketing team relating to Reporting, Data requests, Fulfillment operations, Online Mercy Ships store, and Donor Communications.
  • Leadership and Management of all internal teams, Managers and employees who make up the Donor Process team.
  • Oversight and responsibility for all daily operations, planning assigning and directing of work, as well as training within the Donor Process Team.
  • Work directly and collaboratively with Directors in Marketing, Donor Services, and Integrated Services teams to implement and support system and process improvement initiatives/projects related to Marketing or Resource Development Departments.
  • Monitoring and data integrity of inbound/outbound data through the data management systems.
  • Management of Outbound Call Center for Marketing lapsed, sustainer, and midlevel calls.
  • Donor Assignments and Major Gift coding.
  • Oversight of Inbound Call Center operations.

 

Education & Experience

  • High School diploma or GED Required.
  • Previous experience in customer service, administrative support, nonprofit work, or related roles preferred.
  • Successful completion of Mercy Ships Entry Training will be required within the first year.

    Physical Requirements

  • Regularly lift, move, and organize materials related to fulfillment and inventory.
  • Must be able to safely lift and carry items weighing up to 40 pounds.
  • Perform physical tasks associated with packing, storing, and handling materials in a warehouse or office storage environment.
