- Manage the Sourcing and Recruitment teams; lead and mentor to achieve and exceed expectations.
- Consult in prioritization of strategic work, including planning, assigning, and directing work to address critical volunteer needs and building the talent pipeline.
- Talent management, including: performance appraisals, timely coaching and feedback, and career/skills development.
- Develop and encourage a proactive and innovative team, providing guidance and advice.
- Identify, investigate, and propose new strategic sourcing avenues and events with high ROI for the organization.
- Propose annual sourcing budget and conference schedule; manage expenses and budget.
- Manage organizational job boards, ensuring accurate, timely, and strategic posts.
- Collaborate with the Talent Brand Manager to determine need and develop requests for new recruiting materials (videos, brochures, banners, etc.).
- Collaborate with the global recruitment/sourcing team; share best practices and networks.
- Participate in and promote webinars and other recruitment functions/activities.
- Support the Director of Talent Acquisition in the development of the Manpower Strategic Market Plan (SMP).
- Act as the team's Salesforce CRM super-user, overseeing the use of Salesforce and developing tools for collecting and converting recruiting leads.
- Collaborate with Workforce Planning Coordinator to develop and share forecasting models.
- Maintain current knowledge of Mercy Ships’ departments, policies, and procedures in regard to minimum commitments, volunteering requirements, and position requirements.
- Stay abreast with sourcing and relevant industry advancements by participating in educational opportunities, reading professional publications, maintaining personal networks, and/or participating in professional organizations, understanding the trends and issues pertinent to the industry, volunteerism, etc.
- Some overnight travel may be required.
- Other duties as assigned.
