Responsible for overseeing implementation of Mercy Ships' international sourcing activities, in support of the Global Recruitment and Staffing Strategy. Demonstrate creativity and innovation by developing efficient and effective sourcing strategies that resolve critical needs, build the talent pipeline, and reflect the uniqueness of our organization and culture.

Essential Duties And Responsibilities (Include But Not Limited To)

  • To perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform each essential duty satisfactorily.
  • Manage the General, Medical, Technical, and Staff Recruiters, including planning, assigning, and directing work to address critical volunteer/staff needs and build the talent pipeline.
  • Lead and mentor the Recruiters to achieve and exceed expectations. Create a high performance sourcing team through talent assessment, timely coaching and feedback, and developmental assignments. Conduct performance appraisals, train new Recruiters, and review/update position descriptions of Recruiters.
  • Track metrics to measure sourcing success and monitor the return-on-investment (ROI) of recruitment activities, recommending adjustments accordingly.
  • Support the Director of Recruiting in development of the annual US Manpower Strategic Market Plan (SMP).
  • Collaborate with the Talent Brand Strategist to determine need and develop requests for new recruiting materials (videos, brochures, banners, etc.).
  • Propose sourcing budget and conference schedule based upon critical needs and talent pipeline status. Manage costs related to recruiting and attend events as needed.
  • Explore and maintain current knowledge of industry best practices and implement as appropriate in the organization.
