Assist the Donor Services Business Process Supervisor special projects, reporting and document management.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities (include but are not limited to)

To perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform each essential duty satisfactorily.

  • Assist in the compilation of metrics, statistics and reports
  • Assist with the upkeep of departmental documentation, policies and procedures
  • Work independently and within the team on special projects
  • Advise and assist with special projects; coordinating meetings and documenting requirements from multiple stakeholders
  • Communicate with donors; maintain relationships, field/answer all quests and communicate and document payment issues
  • Assist with purchase and supply of office supplies/equipment and resources
  • Set up meetings, set agenda, take minutes and distribute
  • Create and manage system templates
  • Ensure timesheets are ready for the payroll report
  • Manage Daily Cash Template, Daily Batch Reconciliation and Daily Cash Tracking
  • Train new staff; set up email, timesheets, open help tickets, coding and entering donations
  • Manage Business Process team in absence of Supervisor
  • Other duties as assigned

Education and Experience

The requirements listed below are representative of the education and/or experience required.

  • High School diploma required - some college preferred
  • Demonstrated experience and knowledge of computer software applications in Microsoft word processing and spreadsheets
  • Demonstrated willingness and aptitude toward learning Mercy Ships specific software (DonorPerfect, Navigator, Vista etc.)
  • Experience within the Financial/Fundraising field (accounting/bookeeping) is preferred but not required
  • Successful completion of Mercy Ships Entry Training will be required within the first year.
