Hospitality Manager
Summary:  Facilitates and coordinates the daily operations of hospitality, housekeeping and laundry for the Mercy Ships International Operations Center accommodation and community.

Essential Duties And Responsibilities (Include But Not Limited To)

To perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform each essential duty satisfactorily.

    • Assist Campus Services Coordinator with Scheduling accommodation for incoming ISC staff, transfers, short-termers, long-termers, students and guests.
    • Oversee ISC Reception, including delegation of administrative tasks, monitoring staff progress, and expressing concerns to Campus Services Manager.
    • Work within budgeted expenses and express budget concerns to Campus Services Manager.
    • Work with Campus Services Coordinator to ensure appropriate staffing resource is assigned to Hospitality to meet changing workload.
    • Prepare and clean accommodations, particularly prior to and after Basic Training (BT), Foundations of Mercy Ships (FMS), On Boarding and other short-term training programs held at the ISC. Ensure essential supply levels are maintained, including conference rooms.
    • Launder bedding, towels etc used in ISC accommodation areas.
    • Organize and coordinate refreshments for official meetings including BT, FMS, and On Boarding.
    • Coordinate the arrival of students or staff who will be staying in ISC accommodation, including communication and welcoming.
    • Complete Exit inspections to accommodations, raising maintenance tickets as necessary.
    • Keep inventory and assess the need for refurbishment or redecoration of accommodation areas in collaboration with the Campus Services Manager.
    • Update ISC Campus and Dorm Residents list on Navigator monthly.
    • Assist in Oasis Dining Room, Anchorage Cafe, and Janitorial Services as necessary.
    • Stock breakfast items and supplies in dorms/housing kitchens, as needed, during guest stay.
    • Order standard office supplies (found in Navigator).
    • Collaborate with Campus Services Manager in special event planning, including ideas for the dining room set-up. Then, oversee set-up and tear-down of event.
    • Coordinate the decorating and supplies for ISC events and activities.
    • Coordinate volunteers and their job assignments while on campus.
    • Collaborate with Head Cook to plan snack menus for BT, FMS, and On Boarding.
    • Respond to guest requests, as needed, both during and after normal work hours. 
    • Other duties as assigned
