This is an ON-SITE role, located in Lindale, Texas.
Mercy Ships is seeking a Marketing and Production Specialist to coordinate and execute fundraising and marketing initiatives by managing timelines, deliverables, and communication between internal teams, creative services, and external partners. Serve as the central liaison across departments to ensure campaigns are delivered on time, on brand, and aligned with Advancement goals. Oversee the preparation and delivery of production-ready files for direct mail and print projects, ensuring accuracy, consistency, and adherence to vendor specifications.
How You’ll Contribute
Marketing Duties:
- Work with internal customers to ensure feasible project plans are developed to achieve goals.
- Manage internal project management tools ensuring deadlines, milestones, and d deliverables are assigned and tracked.
- Maintain Donor Experience Map (Dx Map) and ensure alignment between DX Map and various production schedules.
- Develop Creative Briefs for applicable Mercy Ships initiatives to clearly communicate strategy, goals and schedule.
- Coordinate approval of requests for creative services.
- Acts as main point of contact for internal customers.
- Regularly provide reports on activities as needed for strategic planning and communication purposes.
- Looks for opportunities for process improvement, efficiency and resource sharing.
- Other duties as assigned.
Production Duties:
- Prepare and finalize files for direct mail campaigns (letters, envelopes, reply devices, etc).
- Ensure all files meet printer specifications and postal regulations (e.g. USPS automation standards).
- Coordinate pre-press and proofing process with external print vendors.
- Maintain version control and consistency across multi-segmented campaigns.
- Implement any last-minute copy or design changes with speed and precision.
- Archive final files and organize production assets in internal systems.

- Proficiency with Microsoft Office.
- Excellent organizational, multitasking and detail-orientation skills.
- Strong interpersonal skills and the ability to work with al project team members and agency partners.

- Understand and apply servant leadership, work collaboratively with integrity and demonstrate accountability.
- Comfortable handling feedback and revisions under tight turnaround.
Education & Experience
- Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Communications, advertising or related field.
- 2+ years' experience managing fundraising projects.
- Media, advertising, direct response fundraising or public relations experience preferred.
- Successful completion of Mercy Ships Onboarding program, Gateway, will be required within the first year.
