Digital Marketing Strategist 
Summary:  Responsible for creating the digital content strategy and executing successful email donor acquisition campaigns.
Description:  

Responsibilities include:   

  • Own the donor experience across all paid and owned digital platforms.
  • Develop cohesive, customized donor communication strategies across all digital channels to ensure appropriateness and effectiveness.This includes search marketing, social media, mail, email, etc.
  • Develop corresponding goals and metrics to evaluate effectiveness of digital initiatives.
  • Establish effective messaging and touchpoints focusing on email, digital ads, paid search, etc.
  • Optimize the web site to align with audience behaviors and organizational goals.
  • Work with designers and developers to prescribe designs that align with our brand and content strategies.
  • Collaborate with and manage external partners and vendors, ensuring optimization of paid digital media campaigns.
  • Monitor and remain up to date on developments and changes to digital marketing tools and platforms.

    Qualifications:

    Education & Experience:  

  • Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Communications, or related field
  • Minimum of 5 years of experience in digital strategy, online marketing/fundraising experience
  • Experience managing external digital buying agencies
  • Customer journey mapping experience a plus
  • SMS campaign experience a plus

    Skills & Abilities:  

  • Proficiency in MS Office Suite
  • Working knowledge of SEO and PPC
  • Ability to analyze data and business needs to drive decisions
  • Excellent attention to detail
  • Strong interpersonal skills
  • Proven ability to balance competing priorities and tight deadlines
  • Ability to successfully work as a member of a team as well as independently with self-direction
