Audio Visual Technician
Summary: Mercy ships is searching for a part time A/V Tech that would be responsible for the operation and maintenance of audio and visual equipment for public address and internal communication.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities (Include But Not Limited To)
To perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform each essential duty satisfactorily:
- Ensure that the AV equipment in the various venues and public viewing areas is operational for regular meetings and special events
- Train AV operators (volunteers) for all venues and provide hands on oversight for them
- Schedule AV Operators (volunteers) for regular meetings and special events
- Maintain an inventory of AV equipment and spares. Oversee a sign-out procedure for equipment
- Troubleshoot AV equipment and other AV issues and perform necessary routine maintenance
- Facilitate the repair or replacement of any non-functional AV equipment and install or assist in installation any new or upgraded AV equipment
- Maintain documentation of AV systems, records, logs and procedures
- Record all important meetings and teachings to be placed on Navigator for accessibility to staff
- Edit teaching material, transfer material into usable formats
- Operate, manage and facilitate the use of the sound desk in the Oasis and other AV equipment
- Other duties as assigned
