**Compensation Range for This Position Is $19.76 - $20.70

Mercy Ships is seeking a Donor Care Specialist to serve on-site at our headquarters in Lindale, Tx.

How You’ll Contribute

  • Supports overall donor journey by maintaining donor records and and interacting with customers across all channels and platforms. Produces fulfillment of tribute kits for in-Honor / in-Memory gifts as well as other donor communications.  Provides donor feedback to Donor Care Supervisor to keep fine tuning the donor experience.

    • Work with Donor Supervisor to ensure compliance with the Donor Care plan.
    • Maintain donor database to update mail preferences, contact information and contact records.
    • Oversee inventory and re-order as needed for tributes, no mail, shirt orders and donor notes
    • Respond to donor queries in a timely and effective manner, via phone, email, social media, or chat applications.
    • Package and record notifications with tributes processed, including creation of contact records and inactivating tribute
    • Log technical issues, as well as donor compliments and complaints.
    • Switchboard/Telephone duties as assigned.
    • Other duties as assigned.

    • Bilingual Spanish Speaking preferred

Education & Experience

The requirements listed below are representative of the education and / or experience required.

    • High School Diploma or equivalent.
    • Experience working in a customer service/business environment preferred.
    • Mercy Ships experience is preferred, but not required.
    • Successful completion of Mercy Ships Entry Training will be required within the first year.
