Donor Care Specialist
Summary:  
Description:  

Supports overall donor experience by maintaining donor records and ensuring donor database accuracy. Produces fulfillment of tribute kits for in-Honor / in-Memory gifts as well as other donor communications.  Provides donor feedback to the Director of Donor Experience to improve the Donor Experience.

 

Essential Duties And Responsibilities (Include But Not Limited To)

To perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform each essential duty satisfactorily.

 

  • Work with all relevant parties and departments who have donor touch-points to ensure compliance with the Donor Experience (DX) plan.
  • Maintain donor database to update mail preferences, contact information and contact records.
  • Oversee inventory and re-order as needed for tributes, no mail, shirt orders and donor notes
  • Respond to questions, comments and concerns to improve donor and staff relationships
  • Work in Excel to pull and organize tributes
  • Package and record notifications with tributes processed, including creation of contact records and inactivating tribute
  • Review donor feedback and provide recommendations as needed
  • Work tasks of Donor Services Specialist, as needed
  • Other duties as assigned

  • Highly motivated, well organized and detail oriented with strong verbal and written communication skills.
  • Ability to define priorities and handle confidential information while ensuring the privacy of Donors and Staff.
  • Ability to multi-task and be flexible and open to changes in processes; ability to handle numerous interruptions; ability to work effectively with a dynamic team serving Donors and Staff
  • Aesthetically pleasing handwriting required
