Description:  

Essential Duties and Responsibilities (Include But Not Limited To)

Technical Leadership

  • Provide leadership, training, and mentoring in the development of financial data management systems to empower business units with real-time data for decision making.
  • Participate in the facilitation of strategic planning sessions, assisting management in the development of annual and multi-year planning, scenario analysis and field ready financial technology solutions.

    Data Management and Analysis

  • Develop a robust financial data management system / structure to facilitate timely information updates, data quality assurance, sharing of information and learning.
  • Develop and maintain data analysis templates, and dashboards for the organizational financials.
  • Ensure that data analysis and financial document storage are timely, accurate and high quality.

    Internal and External Coordination

  • Act as a liaison to business leaders in a multi-ship and international environment
  • Maintain close working relationships with the Fundraising, IS, HR, and Programs departments within Mercy Ships, as well as Mercy Ships partners.
  • Stay current on the latest trends, technologies, tools, applications, research, and analytics applicable to the work of Mercy Ships.
