The Director of New Business Development will report to the Senior Director, and is responsible for building and operationalizing a new strategic plan with a focus on generating new revenue streams, cultivation, and stewardship through a holistic partner-centric approach and innovation at the forefront.  This position will serve as the strategic leader providing overall management, planning, execution and high-quality donor and partner engagement and recognition strategies for long-term retention and growth. The Director will be the primary driver for enhancing sponsorship approach, pitching and securing funding from new corporate partners from a wide array of industries and sectors, with a diversified approach based on best in class partnerships. Director is responsible for positioning the organization as a non-profit category leader through dynamic and meaningful corporate partnerships for long term growth. A key role will be to strengthen collaboration relationships with internal and external stakeholders including marketing, global brand, finance, and partner networks.

The Director will manage a Sr. Associate a work in a team setting with the Director of Grants and Corporate funding, and the GIK team for alignment, to achieve revenue goals. Additionally, this position holds key value in building plans for international collaboration with 16 global offices linked through a Corporate partnership framework.

  • Based on divisional strategic priorities, recommends to VP and Senior Director a plan for strategies from pipeline to execution of partnership agreements, with an intention of long-term commitment.
  • Leadership role within the division in bringing a data driven approach to new partner acquisition strategies, creative brand and marketing planning, and a skillful approach to transforming traditional CSR initiatives to a more innovative and digitally driven execution.

  • Responsible for revenue targets, partner acquisition, reactivation, and retention metrics to build the groundwork for a key pillar of the organizational budget. Grow revenue streams from corporate partner and national associations and networks significantly over the next several years.
  • Work closely with senior director and VP on a strategy for C-Suite engagement and VIP networks and external stakeholder to drive revenue and preserve GIK.
