People Data and Reporting Analyst
Summary:  This position is responsible for supporting Human Resources through strategic and ad hoc data analyses and reporting by leveraging analytics tools to provide meaningful and actionable insights in multiple HR areas, including HR Business Systems, Talent Acquisition, Talent Management, and Learning and Development. The HR Data and Reporting Analyst will be responsible for HR data integrity and validation, develop scorecards/dashboards, and identify insights to inform business strategy and supportive action planning.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities (Include but Not Limited To)

To perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform each essential duty satisfactorily.

  •  Collects and compiles HR metrics and data from a variety of sources including the human resource information system (HRIS) and payroll outputs, management, and employee surveys, exit interviews, employment records, and other sources.
  • Consults with internal stakeholders in HR to identify business questions, gather data, run analyses, and interpret results to provide information and insights to make workforce decisions.
  • Overlays multiple data points including financial, HR and operational data to establish HR performance benchmarks.
  • Design, build, deploy and support data analysis or integration packages as assigned.
  • Prepare, administer, and deliver training to end users in a way that processes are easily understood and applied.
  • Support and participate in the HR data lifecycle including data extraction or gathering from multiple sources; prepare data for analysis including file merging, data cleaning and entering formulas; create metrics (calculations based on past and future trends) and analytics (making recommendations for future activity) and reporting information through data visualization techniques (such as charts and graphs) as well as through mathematical calculations and/or advanced statistical analyses (such as regression, correlation, etc.) as needed; and maintain and update files including weekly, monthly and quarterly reports.
  • Analyzes data and statistics for trends and patterns with attention to recruitment, hiring practices, motivation, turnover, and compliance with employment laws and regulations.
  • Lead role in reporting needs across all HR functions including configuration for new reports, troubleshooting existing reports, and advising on potential reporting solutions available.
  • Ensures compliance with data privacy regulations and best practices.
  • Analyzes data and statistics for trends and patterns with attention to recruitment, hiring practices, motivation, turnover, and compliance with employment laws and regulations.
  • Collaborate with project management functions in the execution of projects.
