Essential Duties and Responsibilities (Include but Not Limited To)

- Develop marketing tools that support corporate and vendor relationship development (monetary, Gift in Kind and Media sharing)
- Collaborates with Global Brand Managers, Brand Editor and Creative Project Coordinator to plan and develop a variety of content marketing materials
- Responsible for original content creation, editing, updating, proofreading, and summarizing various
types of brand related content and communication collateral
- Develops internal and external communication touchpoints: key messaging and public statement coordination and development, corporate partner PR support/coordination
- Supports corporate partner engagement through shared and earned media reporting and analytics
- Collaborates with Global Brand leadership and Mercy Ships internal stakeholders to manage and prioritize projects from kick-off to completion, including the creation and communication of project schedules, tracking and ensuring all deliverables are met, asset procurement, quality control, internal review and signoff requirements and final file delivery
- Facilitates meetings with collaborators to understand project scope and timing and circulates actionable notes
- Creates project overview or creative brief and defines tasks and timelines in partnership with the Creative Project Coordinator and Communication manager.
- Monitor’s problems, provides solutions, and implements changes as necessary to ensure the project timeline is followed
- Reviews provided content and own work to produce accurate and high-quality projects
- Supports the execution of Global Brand campaigns and projects as assigned
- Performs related duties as assigned which may not be listed above but which are within the general occupational series and responsibility level associated with the position

- Experience in producing audience focused content for digital, print and broadcast channels
- Experience adhering to editorial style guides and brand voice
- Excellent communication, analytical, listening and problem-solving skills
- Strong project management and organizational skills with attention to detail
- Self-motivated with the ability to think proactively, take initiative and provide resourceful solutions
- Working knowledge of project management software including Jira and Asana
- Working knowledge of Adobe Creative Cloud including Acrobat, Photoshop, InDesign and Illustrator a plus
- Ability to create strong relationships to positively engage with individuals in a cross-cultural environment

Education and Experience
The requirements listed below are representative of the education and / or experience required.
- Education: Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Communications, Operations, Journalism or related area required
- 3+ years in a marketing or communication corporate, sales and customer support role
- Successful completion of Mercy Ships Entry Training will be required within the first year.
