Accounting Manager Accounts Payable
Summary:  Responsible for Accounts Payable and Inventory daily accounting, reporting, and maintaining internal controls that ensure the organization's fiscal integrity.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities (Include but Not Limited To)

To perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform each essential duty satisfactorily.

  • Exercises accounting control over the Accounts Payable ledger to ensure its accuracy and completeness.
  • Manages the Staff Accountant (AP), and Senior Staff Accountant.
  • Manages AP/Inventory validation process. 
  • In conjunction with the Accounting team, the position will be responsible for AP & Inventory close balances for all companies using the Accounting software to ensure all appropriate activity has been entered and completed.
  • Develops financial reports for vendor financial analysis, inventory forecasting, trending, and results analysis.
  • Records, classifies, and summarizes financial transactions and events in accordance with generally accepted accounting principles.
  • Prepare and submit 1099 Misc, and 1099 NEC forms
  • Initiates and processes journal entries into various accounts.
  • Coordinates the reconciliation of accounts payable and inventory sub-ledgers to the general ledger and resolves differences.
  • Uses various software applications, such as spreadsheets, relational databases, and graphical packages to assemble, manipulate and/or format data and/or reports. 
  • Look for and implement process improvements.
  • Other duties as assigned.
