Travel Operations Specialist
Summary:  The Travel Operations Specialist will liaise with travelers and our travel partners to ensure needs of the individual and organization are met.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities (Include but Not Limited To)

To perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform each essential duty satisfactorily.

  • Monitor and respond to the Travel Center email box and Microsoft Teams channel
  • Monitor traveler tracking dashboard and action accordingly
  • Maintain the central hub for travel related information and training including but not limited to Navigator and the LMS program
  • Support in sending of pre-departure emails and other informative travel-related communications
  • Support in inquiries and approvals for 3rd party travel platforms (ex: Online Portals)
  • Monitor and update on global travel regulations and restrictions
  • Support in creating and posting LMS content
  • Support in posting of scheduled blogs
  • Facilitate and monitor group movements
  • Run and analyze travel related reports for financial savings and training opportunities (ex: unused tickets)
  • Monitor and report on travel project risks, issues and progress
  • Assist Volunteer Coordinators with travel bookings for crew and contractors as needed
  • Assist with visa consultations and processing as needed
  • Other duties as assigned
