Mercy Ships is looking for a Project Manager - Infrastructure who will provide project management for IS Infrastructure-related projects, ensuring that each of the assigned projects produce the required benefits and deliverables, within the quality, time and cost constraints, as defined in each project business case. This is a hybrid position offering the opportunity to work from home and at our beautiful Lindale, TX Campus. We're looking for someone who has Waterfall methodology knowledge and is willing to travel internationally for blocks of time.
*This is a 12 month role for a W9 contractor.
Essential Duties And Responsibilities (Include But Not Limited To)
To perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform each essential duty satisfactorily:
- Use best practice methodologies to initiate and lead project planning activities from project initiation to project closure for multiple concurrent projects
- Produce, manage and maintain project documentation including initiation documentation, plans, business cases, project records and logs
- Create and execute project work plans for cross-functional project teams and revise plans as appropriate to meet the project needs and requirements
- Manage the effective execution of the project work and ensure that the work generates desired deliverables on time, within budget and at required quality levels
