Description:  
The Hospitality Coordinator is responsible for the details of operating the  ISC Accommodations, providing leadership and direction as needed.
 
Essential Duties And Responsibilities (Include But Not Limited To)
To perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform each essential duty satisfactorily.
 
Manage Campus Services Assistants, including scheduling work shifts for café, oasis, and hospitality cleaning.
Take room reservations and cancellations for the Anchorage Guest House, working with Hospitality Coordinator to schedule accommodations for ISC staff, short term, long term, students, and guests.
Manage and maintain accommodation bookings in StarRez.
Arrange keys and paperwork for arriving guests.
Observe and monitor staff performance to ensure efficient operations and adherence to facilities' policies and procedures, including dress code.
Train and coordinate training for Campus Services Assistants.
Work in conjunction with Culinary Manager on ordering of supplies, food items, beverage items, etc. for Guest House, and pick up supplies from appropriate Broadliner. If necessary, managing product needs outside of Broadliner.
Coordinate and organize special events at the Anchorage (movie nights, concerts, etc.).
Keep current with industry trends in regard to new menu ideas and pricing.
Oversee daily transaction records and follow up on variances.
Work as Barista when necessary, particularly during Happy Hour(s).
Collect Campus Services Assistants' time sheets for Payroll, signing them and sending them to Hospitality Manager.
Create Internal Purchase Orders (IPOs) for Accommodations and Anchorage Café charges monthly to appropriate departments.
Manage and maintain the Aloha Point of Sale Back Office System, keeping abreast of changes (i.e. upgrades) in the software as much as possible.
Responsible for the Mercy Ships Branded Merchandise - inventory, re-stock (order from Marketing), display, etc.
Assist Hospitality Manager in preparing annual department budget. Monitor actual expenditures against budget, and explain variances.
Present ideas for any design changes to the facility to supervisor for approval.
Responsible to request and schedule general maintenance and repair tasks necessary to keep equipment and facility functioning optimally. 
Oversee breakfast supplies are stocked in the Anchorage conference room. 
Other duties as assigned.

Knowledge of principles and processes for providing customer and personal services. This includes customer needs assessment, meeting quality standards for services, and evaluation of customer satisfaction.
Knowledge of business and management principles and leadership skills involved in the coordination of people and resources, as well as knowledge of principles and procedures for personnel selection.
Knowledge of administrative and clerical procedures, including basic computer skills, such as sending and receiving emails, word processing, spreadsheets, managing files and records, and other office procedures and terminology.
Knowledge of economic and accounting principles and practices, including the analysis and reporting of financial data.
