Hospitality Assistant/COVID Readiness Facilitator
Summary:  Responsible for a wide variety of duties in the Hospitality Department, including Oasis dining room responsibilities, hospitality, and barista duties as well as the organization and planning of COVID processes during On Campus Onboarding Sessions
Description:  

To perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform each essential duty satisfactorily.

  • Support a gap analysis of policy application into plans, procedures, and practice.
  • Support the development of an action plan in response to the gap analysis, with associated goals, objectives and timelines.
  • Audit policy, plan, and procedure compliance for their assigned business domains.
  • Document and communicate departmental compliance status.
  • Report progress as defined by the Full Africa Return core team and implementation project manager.
  • Communicate risks to project goals and areas of ambiguity with the Full Africa Return implementation project manager.
  • Maintain a sense of urgency for all activities.

  • Oasis Dining Room Responsibilities

      • Complete designated checklist for each shift.
      • Clean Oasis Dining Room tables, floor, chairs and windows.  Empties and cleans up all trash containers.  Breaks down empty boxes for the recycle bin.
      • Refill the beverage dispensers and cleans the station.
      • Run the dishwasher and put away dishes.
      • Assist in the preparation and serving food.
      • Clean kitchen floors. 
      • Ensure Oasis Dining Room, including patio, kitchen, and office, are locked daily.
      • Other duties as assigned

     

    Hospitality

      • Complete designated checklist for each shift.
      • Launder and fold all linens (sheets and towels).
      • Clean and vacuum rooms, bathrooms, and kitchens.
      • Change/make beds.
      • Re-stock room supplies for new guests.
      • Vacuum/clean floors; dust/wipe down all items in Anchorage Conference Room and Lobby.
      • Prepare room keys and paperwork for guests.
      • Inform supervisor of any cleaning product shortages for re-order.
      • Other duties as assigned.

     

     Barista Duties

      • Complete designated checklist for each shift.
      • Prepare food items.
      • Assess available supplies in Café.
      • Re-stock all items as necessary.
