Coordinates maritime training program logistics including registering participants, maintaining course records, and maintaining systems for organizing training. Coordinates records required for ISO-9001 compliance and audits

Essential Duties and Responsibilities (include but not limited to)

To perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform each essential duty satisfactorily.

  • Maintain the Maritime Training Center ISO-9001 records required for compliance and audits.
  • Maintain records of course completions
  • Maintain records to evaluate effectiveness of maritime training programs.
  • Process training requests related to online training, including associated documents and purchase orders
  • Assist with processing training requests associated with live and training centers, as needed
  • Supports the operation, administration, and continuing improvement of the Quality Management System.
  • Communicates, processes, and tracks all pre-arrival requirements with training program participants
  • Updates and organizes Maritime Training space on Navigator and other online platforms
  • Assists team with various special projects
  • Other duties as assigned

Education and Experience

The requirements listed below are representative of the education and / or experience required.

  • Associate degree or higher preferred
  • 3-5 years relevant experience
  • Successful completion of Mercy Ships Entry Training will be required within the first year
