Summary:  The Global Brand Creative Project Coordinator is responsible for overseeing, supporting and executing various projects and creative campaign assets produced within the Global Brand Team.

This includes ongoing communication assets, coordination and set up of distribution tools, providing support to Global Brand Managers with campaign and project needs and managing the end to end execution of their own assigned projects.

Essential Duties And Responsibilities (Include But Not Limited To)

To perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform each essential duty satisfactorily.

  • Oversees the end to end process of creative asset development and delivery for Brand Communications projects, global campaigns and their own assigned projects.
  • Produces or edits creative assets and communication collateral as needed
  • Collaborates with Global Brand leadership and Mercy Ships internal stakeholders to manage and prioritize projects from kick-off to completion, including the creation and communication of project schedules, tracking and ensuring all deliverables are met, asset procurement, quality control, internal review and signoff requirements and final file delivery
  • Monitors incoming requests, initiates implementation and assigns according to project type
  • Facilitates meetings with collaborators to understand project scope and timing and circulates actionable notes
  • Creates project overview or creative brief, tasks, assignments and timelines within the project management tool and regularly updates project status
  • Assigns writers and designers to produce needed assets, ensures clear direction is provided and coordinates the internal review process
  • Monitors problems, provides solutions, and implements changes as necessary to ensure the project timeline is followed
  • Works with external vendors on production quotes and shipping or delivery schedules
  • Proofreads provided content and own work to ensure brand accuracy and high quality projects
  • Supports the execution of Global Brand campaigns and projects as assigned
  • Performs related duties as assigned which may not be listed above but which are within the general occupational series and responsibility level associated with the position

Qualifications (Knowledge, Skills, Abilities, And Requirements)

  • Proficient in project management software including Jira and Asana
  • Proficient in Adobe Creative Cloud including Photoshop, InDesign and Illustrator
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office: PowerPoint, Word and Excel
  • Excellent communication, analytical, listening and problem-solving skills
  • Ability to organize and understand project requirements that may at times be ambiguous
  • Self-motivated with the ability to think proactively, take initiative and provide resourceful solutions
  • Ability to accept and incorporate creative direction from Global Brand leadership
  • Organizational skills with a strong attention to detail
  • Ability to execute on a variety of projects simultaneously with multiple deadlines
  • Ability to work independently or in a collaborative environment
  • Ability to create strong relationships to positively engage with individuals in a cross-cultural environment

Education And Experience

The requirements listed below are representative of the education and / or experience required.

  • Education: Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Journalism, Advertising, Communications or related field
  • Minimum of 3 years project management experience with an in-house creative services team or agency with
  • a strong understanding of creative asset development and production processes (digital, print, and video).
  • Successful completion of Mercy Ships Entry Training will be required within the first year.
