The requirements listed below are representative of the knowledge, skill, and/or ability required.
- Ability to identify/specify various medical and dental equipment. Identify and research technical data on items requiring interface with instrumentation or systems for proper use. Ability to outline specific needs for equipment based on treatment and hospital needs.
- Ability to manage others to meet project goals and respond to urgent demands from clinical users as it relates to defective equipment during use.
- Proficiency in phone skills and successful customer service attributes required to engage individual/companies to partner with the ministry.
- Proficiency with Microsoft Excel, Word, Power Point and graphics programs.
- Proficiency in using the Internet as a tool for locating sources for equipment and parts.
- Ability to write reports, business correspondence, and document work procedures.
- Ability to effectively present information and respond to questions from various departments.
- Must be able to lift and/or move up to 50 pounds.
- National and international travel will be required – must have a valid passport, visas, and immunizations.
