FP and A Business Partner
Summary:  
Description:  Key supporting finance partner to various operational groups across Mercy Ships (HQ & Programmatic) to accomplish global financial planning and analytics activities. Reporting into the FP&A Manager.

Essential Duties And Responsibilities (Include But Not Limited To)

To perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform each essential duty satisfactorily.

  • Facilitate strategic planning sessions, assisting management in the development of annual and multi-year planning and scenario analysis
  • Participate in the development and maintenance of management information resources which links financial and operational data (Qlik apps, Internal Reporting Tools etc)
  • Support various business leaders in a multi-ship and international environment and provide them timely, accurate and insightful management information
  • Consolidate and analyze financial data (budgets, forecasts, etc.) taking into account the organization’s goals and financial standing then communicate your conclusions
  • Maintain close working relationships with the internal and external Mercy Ships Finance partners
  • Creation of ‘value-add’ analysis to drive efficiencies across the organization, highlight areas requiring management focus and support growth initiatives
  • Other duties as assigned

Education And Experience

The requirements listed below are representative of the education and / or experience required.

  • A Bachelor's degree, preferably in finance, economics?or another relevant field. 
  • Experience with data management including the ability to structure and collate data sets for ease of analysis. 
  • Preferably experience with any of the following tools: Qlik Sense, Microsoft PowerApps/Forms/Dynamics 365, SalesForce, SQL, Python. 
  • A proven track record of adding value to organizations
  • Previous experience living and working on a Mercy Ships vessel is a plus
  • Successful completion of Mercy Ships Entry Training will be required within the first year.
