**Compensation Range for This Position Is $75,000 - $80,000

Mercy Ships is seeking a Talent Acquisition Manager to serve Remotely. In this position you'll have the opportunity to support the People & Culture Department initiatives of Mercy Ships to ensure continued delivery of hope to those in need through oversight and direction of global employee talent acquisition operations.

How You’ll Contribute

  • To perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform each essential duty satisfactorily.

    • Identify, develop, and implement effective full-cycle recruitment processes including recruitment metrics, talent acquisition strategies, and building new talent pools.
    • Ensure the Talent Experience is in alignment with the Mercy Ships Mission and Values.
    • Manage the Talent Acquisition team members by providing continual training and mentoring. 
    • Ensure presence at all relevant local events, career fairs, etc. 
    • Track metrics to measure sourcing and placement success and monitor the return-on-investment (ROI) of recruitment activities, recommending adjustments accordingly. 
    • Act as the recruiting department subject matter expert on Global Recruitment tactics and develop new global sourcing initiatives.
    • Collaborate and build relationships with the People and Culture (P&C) Business Partners.
    • Collaborate with internal branding team and contribute to the marketing strategies to attract passive and active candidates, as well as to increase local awareness of Mercy Ships and optimizing employer branding.
    • Explore and maintain current knowledge of industry best practices and implement as appropriate in the organization.
    • Other duties as assigned.

  • ability to manage multiple projects and demonstrate initiative
  • High aptitude for computer applications such as Microsoft office, Applicant Tracking Systems (ATS), marketing automations, customer relationship management (CRM) platforms and databases.

  • Understand and apply servant leadership, work collaboratively with integrity and demonstrate accountability

Education And Experience

The requirements listed below are representative of the education and/or experience required.

  • 5 years of relevant industry experience as a professional recruiter, with at least 1 year of Global recruitment experience.
  • Bachelor's degree in Marketing Human Resources or other relevant education
  • Prior faith-based non-profit recruitment experience strongly preferred.
  • Successful completion of Mercy Ships Entry Training will be required within the first year.
